Use these tips for remembering to take GEMTESA every day as prescribed:

Set a reminder on your phone to take GEMTESA
Sign up for refill reminders and updates at GEMTESA.com or text "GEMTESA" to 436872
Put GEMTESA in your weekly pill organizer
Put GEMTESA near an object you use every day (like a toothbrush or hairbrush)
Put a note on your bathroom mirror
Put your GEMTESA bottle next to your daily vitamins or other medications

In addition to taking GEMTESA every day, try following these lifestyle tips to help with symptoms:

Stay hydrated

A total of 6 to 8 glasses of water is still recommended throughout the day

Keep moving

Strength training, aerobic exercise, balance, and flexibility are beneficial for overall health. Pelvic floor exercises can help decrease leakage episodes

Lose excess weight

Losing weight can help reduce leakage episodes. In some cases, women who lost 10% of their body weight reduced their leakage by half

Quit tobacco use

Tobacco use also has been linked to bladder issues, so if you smoke, quitting may help your symptoms. Coughing causes downward pressure on the bladder, which can lead to leakage. Just another great reason to quit smoking
